New
Harpo Tangible Magic Paper is swell paper (also called microcapsule paper) for tactile graphics. It is made by Harpo in Poland.
How it works
- Draw, print or copy the image in black on the paper.
- Pass the sheet through a swell paper heater, for example PIAF.
- The black areas rise and can be felt with the fingers. The rest of the sheet stays flat.
Features
- Works in printers and photocopiers and with a black marker.
- A sheet can be heated several times, so details can be added later.
- No odour and no discolouration when heated.
- Size: A3 (297 × 420 mm), 100 sheets per pack.
Typical use
Tactile maps, diagrams, maths, geometry and illustrations for blind and visually impaired pupils and employees – for example in schools, resource centres, libraries and municipal services.
