Talking induction hob with two cooking zones and Danish speech. The hob speaks all its functions aloud in Danish, so it can be used without looking at the display.
Cobolt Speechmaster is made by Cobolt Systems in England, a maker of talking aids for blind and visually impaired people. Each cooking zone has its own buttons and display, so the two zones can be used separately.
How it works
- All functions are spoken aloud in clear Danish.
- Two cooking zones, each with its own set of buttons: Timer, Temperature, down, up, Power and On/Off.
- Choose either a power level or a temperature.
- Timer that switches the zone off after the set time.
- Switches off automatically when the pan is removed.
- The surface is warm, but not hot, after use.
- The buttons are easy to feel, and the smooth surface wipes clean.
Pans
Induction needs pans with iron in the base. A magnet is included so you can test your own pans: if the magnet canes to the base, the pan will work.
